Padrick: $30,000 to $200,000 FYC In 12 Months

Company: AIA

Industry Experience (First joined) : 6 months

Background

Padrick was a young advisor who was barely 6 months in the industry when he first joined us. Back then, he was averaging $4000 in commissions every single month, and set his eyes on achieving MDRT by the end of the year. The “magic” equation he had in mind was: More Leads = More Appointments = More Sales, and thought that all he needed was to get more leads.

However, when the Covid situation in Singapore didn't seem to be improving, his leads started to slow down and he was starting to get worried. 

The Process

When Padrick began working with us, we discovered that what he actually needed was not more leads, but a structured sales process to increase his closing ratio.

We provided him with a sales framework and refined his presentation skills, one that focuses more on educating the prospect, making the prospect want the product, rather than pushing the product down the their throats.

This enabled Padrick to go from opening to closing predictably and consistently, rather than one that went by feeling as he did in the past.

Background

Zack came across us through instagram and reached out after watching some of our content. - He is a seasoned advisor and he did great, grossing slightly over $150,000 Premiums the previous year. 

The biggest challenge however, was that he lacked a predictable and systematic method of attracting and getting new clients. As a result, there was a lot of uncertainty in appointments, income and cash flow. 

When the covid situation happened, alongside with two months locked down, he struggled and only managed to close a personal accident plan in the first four months of the year.

The Process

After attending a few coaching calls, we identified that Zack’s advisory business needed structure and processes to give more clarity on:

1. Who are his natural clients that he attracts 
2. His marketing positioning as an advisor 
3. Sales processes and presentation. 

Once we narrowed down his natural clients, we then modularised his sales process and presentation (word-for-word), which enabled him to close bigger cases and face minimal objections. Moreover, we expanded his product line, enabling him to close more than $30,000 of wealth accumulation plans in a matter of 2 months. 

His new marketing position has also changed, and it allowed him to have a stream of passive enquiries and referrals. This greatly reduced the need for him to always hunt for leads, and thereby lowering the feeling of, “not knowing where the next prospect is going to come from.” 

The Results

He went from a personal accident plan to $75,000 premiums in four months and hit his MDRT for the first time after 5 years. 

Because of the processes and systems established, he is working even lesser hours but getting more production. His confidence grew and 4x his investments with us.

Ashley: $64,000 in 6 Months At The Age Of 23

Background

Ashley is a young lady who is passionate about financial planning and joined the industry, hoping to help more people. However, after 6 months in, she feels dejected, lost and has low confidence because of the constant rejections from others.

Ashley had previously bought leads from marketing agencies to boost her production and acquire more clients. After a few months of doing it, she feels that it’s very draining, unsustainable due to the poor quality of leads and became way too expensive to the point where Ashley was losing not only money but also time.

The Process

Immediately after joining the program, Ashley put her nose into the work and implemented everything from the coaching calls and training.

This allowed her to build her own social media prospecting system, knowing exactly what and when to post that works effectively to attract the right clients, which was the exact thing that she wanted. At that point in time, he have a family to feed, and therefore, he felt a pressing need to make it work, to earn the money, and provide a better living for his family without worrying.

The Process

At the beginning, Spencer only wanted to learn and use social media to grow his business. Background

Yixin responded to our instagram message and advertisements and she came as someone who was already producing decent results, and went on to achieve her MDRT within a couple of months with us.

While she was an amazing advisor that had her prospects and clients’ interests at heart, her consistency in generating leads was off the mark. She was able to connect and get a few appointments from her friends and existing, a little bit of here and there - but nothing that was predictable and certain.

Prior to this, Yixin had gone for other courses and workshops but it just didn’t suit her style of working and the lack of touch points as these workshops were usually only a 3 or 4 day stint.

In addition, her real problem with the advisory business is that it was unorganised and her cases seem to come in by “luck” and “random”, due to low productivity and feeling demoralised easily.

The Process

We organised and tidied up her sales process, giving her structure and thereby more predictability in her closing conversions, rather than a “See how the conversation goes” method.

With her action taking mindset, we helped her achieve more referrals. We intentionally installed a referral process into her sales process, and got at least 2 referrals from each appointment without the prospect buying anything.

By shifting her mindset from “closing” someone to “qualifying and serving”, she’s enjoying her appointments, getting tremendous fulfillment and being happy.

Yixin to date have closed more than $50,000 premiums within four months of joining our program while being happier and purposeful in her appointments.

Before we met Javen, she was largely focusing on cold calling, running her own Facebook Ads, engaging lead companies and sending cold messages, however, her prospecting methods were not working out the best and she was not getting any leads.

When we began working with Javen, we found out that one of her biggest challenge was that she didn’t know who her target audience was. This led her to use generic messaging that did not connect well with the people she reached out to.

Background

When Levinson met us through an Instagram outreach message by us, he had difficulties prospecting, and had to rely on cold calling. He had a few warm prospects here and there but was clueless about how to reach out to more in an effective manner. The key problem here is that not many know that he is working in the industry, and nor do they know that he is good at what he does.

After 6 months in the industry, he struggled to earn $5000 in commissions, and less than 20 clients. He had bills to pay and he was even considering going back to Foodpanda to supplement his income as he was fearful of not being able to earn more money.

The Process

The first thing we did was to get him to optimise his social media profile so that he can leverage both Instagram and Facebook to market himself out there and attract the right people. Within a few days, he got a few interests and closed two appointments from instagram. What was surprising about this was that he only had 223 followers back then!

His online presence reinforced his offline, where his friends raise up the topic of financial planning even during casual meetups, enabling him to open up cases from there.
